This week, the Senate will vote on a "resolution of disapproval" (S.J. Res. 6) that would remove all existing protections for Internet users and hand over control of your right to choose online to companies like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon.

Protesters around the world — and here at home — are relying on the Internet to organize and make their voices heard. We must stand up for everyone who believes in free speech online and stop this disastrous resolution.

Take action now and urge your senators to stand up for Net Neutrality and reject this resolution of disapproval.

In April, the House passed a “Resolution of Disapproval” under the Congressional Review Act. 

The resolution gives phone and cable companies absolute power over the Internet. It would strip the Federal Communications Commission of its authority to protect our right to free speech online, leaving Internet users open to widespread corporate abuse. 

Protecting free speech on the Internet is too important to leave to the phone and cable companies themselves. 

Please stand with the more than two million Americans who have called on Congress to defend our right to an open Internet by voting against the Resolution of Disapproval. Our most basic Internet freedom depends on it.
